These cupcakes went along with a wedding cake I made this week. The bride’s nephew turned 8 on the same day. His aunty (the bride) always makes his birthday cakes, and being a kid, he apparently doesn’t forget much, and reminded her that she had promised him a Haunted House birthday cake this year. Well she had prior arrangements (ie her wedding!) so asked that I make some spooky cupcakes for him and the 11 other children at the wedding! These were inspired by a whole bunch of Halloween cupcakes I’ve seen.
Pics of the wedding cake will hopefully be coming soon. It was basically just a blank canvas and was having fresh flowers added by a stylist after delivery, but the bride has kindly agreed to send me some professional pics of the completed cake soon!
Great Halloween Party idea for cupcakes!
I like my pumpkin cupcakes plain and simple…pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and cream cheese frosting….yummy. Of course, normally I don’t have an eyeball staring at me when I eat a cupcake….but this is of course for Cupcake Hero!
